Members & Permissions

Under Members you manage your organisation's team. You invite new members and define which areas each member is allowed to access.

Roles

OpenEOS has two roles:

  • Administrator – automatically has access to all modules and can fully manage the organisation.
  • Member – gets individual modules unlocked selectively (see Permissions).

The overview shows each person's name, email address, role, enabled permissions, and join date.

Inviting a Member

  1. Click Invite member.
  2. Enter the person's email address.
  3. Use the Administrator toggle to decide whether the person gets full access.
  4. If the person is not an administrator, select the modules to enable under Permissions.
  5. Click Invite member.

Module-Based Permissions

The following modules can be enabled individually for members:

  • Products
  • Events
  • Devices
  • Members
  • Shift plans
  • Discount vouchers
  • Deposit
  • Reports
  • Inventory

Only enabled modules appear in that member's navigation. For example, you can give a shift supervisor access to Shift plans only, without access to reports or devices.

Principle of least privilege

Only grant the permissions someone actually needs. Administrator full access should be reserved for a small number of responsible individuals.
