OpenEOS Manual

OpenEOS (Open Event Ordering System) is a modern point-of-sale system for clubs, events, and catering operations. With OpenEOS you manage your events, products, and prices, accept orders at mobile tills, control kitchen and output printers, and monitor revenue in real time.

This manual guides you through the application step by step — from registration through to end-of-event reporting.

What you can do with OpenEOS​

  • Create events and manage products, prices, and stations per event
  • Set up tills on smartphones and tablets — no specialist hardware required
  • Tables laid out as a floor plan, opened, served and settled at the till
  • Accept orders, process payments, and forward them to the kitchen or serving station
  • Manage deposits — issue and collect deposit items at the till
  • Print receipts via ESC/POS printers with your own templates
  • Export reports on revenue, top products, and payment methods
  • Organize your team and shifts and assign permissions per module

How this handbook is arranged​

The handbook is a path, not a reference. Work through the chapters once from top to bottom and you end up with a running system:

  1. Account and organization – register, sign in, create your club.
  2. Creating an event – set up the event, enter your range, define stations and tables. This is also where what it costs is explained, and how to test for free beforehand.
  3. Devices and screens – connect tills, set up displays, attach printers.
  4. On the day – sell, and keep an eye on orders.
  5. After the event – report and settle.

What you need only occasionally — deposits, discount vouchers, members, rotas — sits under Reference.

If you are in a hurry

Chapters 1 to 3 and one test order are enough to get a feel for it. The event stays in test mode and costs nothing.
